Job Summary:

We are seeking a capable individual for a full-time Senior Software Engineer role who will collaborate with the technology department and internal stakeholders to understand business needs; design, develop, and implement software solutions at our Reno, NV headquarters. This opportunity involves application of various tools and methodologies to handle the company’s operational needs. The candidate will also participate in the development of new applications. To be successful in this role, incumbent must have the aptitude and drive to learn our business as it relates to the implementation, maintenance, and support of internal programs.


Software/Web Development for all business-critical systems:

  • Assess feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints
  • Collaborate with technology department to design and implement software applications based on business specifications
  • Modify existing codebase to correct errors and/or improve performance
  • Efficiently write unit tests surrounding expected behavior and edge cases
  • Monitor and assist with software installation; ensure applications operate within established specifications
  • Documentation of code base and workflow that outline dependencies, intended functionality, use cases, and location
  • Create/Modify and improve CI/CD processes
  • Participate in the development of software applications
  • Collaborate with technology department for business intelligence development activities
  • Respond to and troubleshoot bugs quickly, efficiently, and effectively

Mentorship and Coaching:

  • Guide junior engineers on best practices, lifelong learning, and technical development
  • Provide code reviews for PRs and when requested from team members

  • Notify management of obstacles, equipment or operating problems requiring the need for additional support, and/or supplies
  • Participate in meetings and workgroups to acquire and maintain necessary levels of knowledge relating to business developments, industry requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines; collaborate on projects and communicate issues
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
  • Follow company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies
  • Perform tasks, special projects, and other duties as assigned with the ability to recognize and correct oversights or inaccuracies



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Five or more years of experience as software developer or engineer
  • Strong organizational skills, specifically problem management, multitasking, and time-management
  • Demonstrated excellent business oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of object-oriented software design
  • Proficient in Java
  • Experience with Java testing frameworks such as JUnit
  • Proficient with relational databases
  • Experience and comfort in an agile development environment
  • Experience with MVC Architecture
  • Experience with RESTful services
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines


  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with the Salesforce CRM or the Apex Programming Language
  • Experience with SOAP
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Gitlab, Confluence)
