You are an accomplished sales or business development manager that leads your high-performance team through respect, trust, high expectations, and FUN. Yes, we say “fun” because who wants to work somewhere boring? People see you as a leader. You consider anything you work at worth doing the right way and you treat it as your own business.
You are well-spoken and can command a room’s attention. You actually think it is fun to track your team’s sales and behavior metrics to see what has been successful and discover where there is room for improvement.
While you already operate at a high level, you look forward to further training and coaching to foster constant growth. You don’t think of yourself as a know-it-all. As the leader of your team, you ensure your team grows to its full potential by using various methods to coach them and optimize their capabilities. You tell jokes and screw up the punchline, but your team still laughs because they love you and your sense of humor! You enjoy fostering an environment of continuous learning, idea generation, and evaluating the performance and productivity of your team so they can shine like the bright stars that they are and be recognized for it.
When you first meet with clients you make them feel comfortable and at ease. You are simply being yourself, and people can tell it is genuine and appreciate your warmth and friendliness. Sometimes others have even accused you of taking such good care of your clients that you spoil them. So what? You know what you’re doing, and they are probably just jealous anyway.
You don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call potential clients, being consistent with your follow-ups because they need you. You enjoy listening to your clients and learning about them so that you provide them with only the best possible solutions and outcomes. You refuse to do anything that is not in your client’s best interest because that is how you want to be treated.
Knowledge of real estate investing would be beneficial to learning the job skills but is not required. You have been successful before in not knowing everything about the industry you were entering into and that was okay because you learn quickly. You do it with a passion so you can serve your clients with excellence and build long-lasting, strong relationships.
Constant change is the name of the game at our company, so the fact that you get excited at wearing a new hat every day and facing a new challenge makes for a good fit.
How do we know all of this about you? We are psychic! Ok, not really, but we DO know exactly who would excel in this position and if you were shouting “Hey, that’s me!” the entire time you read this, here is how you can apply to be on our kick-butt team:
While our culture, our leadership, and our teams at Hughes Private Capital provide abundant opportunity to support overall success, individual success in this role depends on you showing up as an exemplary leader, being accountable for your time, your workload, the ability to learn new concepts, and your alignment with the core values of the company.
In your application, please include a cover letter with responses to the following:
- What do you consider the key to sales success?
- What is one of your greatest selling successes to date?
- One good joke.
Applications without this information in the cover letter will not be considered. Feel like this job is perfect for you but you don’t fit one of the criteria? Sell us on why you should be hired anyway. It will be fun to hear your reasons!
