Guests scurried to snag a seat at our latest event, Be an Investor, Not a Landlord, at The Club at ArrowCreek on May 9.  The weather was breezy and balmy, so guests mingled outside prior to the event, enjoying the beautiful views while sipping wine and summertime beverages and munching on tasty tostadas, nachos, and churros.

The big topic of the evening was 1031 Exchanges.  Attendees were eager to learn how they could sell their investment property and turn it into a safe, hassle-free asset that results in zero landlord hassles, no capital gains tax, and healthy, consistent returns.  As a bonus, about 50 new Hughes friends learned the inside scoop on how Greg and Steve (Hughes’ CEO & COO) met, and how the single event that brought them together over a decade ago has steered their investment decisions ever since.  Also a big topic?  The one-year history of the buy and hold fund, Hughes Capital’s investment fund that is currently producing an 11.28% consistent net return and provides clean, safe, affordable housing in the Heartland of America.  Want to join in on the fun?  We’re hosting another event this week on May 17, and there’s a glass of wine with your name on it!
